FotoShop Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FotoShop ("we", "our", "us") is developed by abdo_tech (Abdelrahman Elmanawy), Türkiye. FotoShop lets you apply AI edits to your own photos, create biometric/ID photos, and print them at partner photo booths.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, name, and a user ID when you sign up or sign in (including Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple).
Photos you provide: photos you capture with the camera or select from your gallery for AI editing, biometric processing, or printing.
Approximate location: only while you use the booth-finder map, to show nearby photo booths. Location is never collected in the background.
Purchase history: your credit purchases and credit balance (via Apple App Store / Google Play in-app purchase).
Technical data: basic device and diagnostic information needed to operate the service and fix problems.

3. Photos and third-party AI processing (important)

When you use an AI feature, the photo you select is uploaded to our servers and processed by third-party AI providers — Replicate, Inc. and OpenAI, L.L.C. — solely to generate the edited image you requested. Biometric/ID photos are processed by our photo-processing partner for the same purpose.

Your photos are used only to fulfil your request. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell them. Generated and original photos are stored in your private account storage (Supabase) until you delete them or delete your account.

4. How we use information

Provide core features: AI photo editing, biometric photos, booth printing
Authenticate you and secure your account
Maintain your credit balance and process purchases
Show nearby photo booths on the map (with your permission)
Improve stability, performance, and security, and respond to support requests
Review content reports and enforce our AI Content Policy

5. Permissions we request

Camera — to capture photos for editing/printing
Photos / media — to let you pick images from your gallery and save results
Location (while in use) — to find photo booths near you

Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature, and the app works without it except for that feature.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers required to operate the app:

Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage
Replicate and OpenAI — AI image processing (photos only, as described above)
Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchase processing
Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in methods
Payment providers for purchases made on our website (Stripe, PayTR)

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and only for the purposes above.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

In the app: Profile → Privacy settings → Delete account
By email: see the account deletion page

Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, photos, order history, and credit balance.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is restricted by per-user access controls, and photos are kept in private, per-user storage. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.

9. Children's privacy

FotoShop is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Use the in-app deletion flow or contact us below.

11. AI Content Policy

You may not use FotoShop to create content that:

is sexually explicit or depicts minors inappropriately in any way;
promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
harasses, defames, or impersonates real people without their consent;
infringes someone else's rights, including copyright and privacy.

Our AI providers apply built-in safety filtering to every generation. In addition, every generated image in the app has a Report button. We review all reports within 24 hours, remove content that violates this policy, and suspend repeat violators' access to AI features.

You must only upload photos you own or have permission to use. AI results are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
